Shalaya Kipp continues CU steeple tradition with her first NCAA title at 2012 NCAA Outdoor Champs

The University of Colorado has a sick tradition in the steeplechase with Jenny Barringer and Emma Coburn as recent national champions in the event. Now add Shalaya Kipp to that list. The junior from Salt Lake City has dominated the NCAA scene this spring but faced a stiff challenge from Florida's Genevieve LaCaze but was able to hold on for her first NCAA title.
