Hurdle Training - Reactive through change ups in height and spacing

November 22, 2011 - Made quick work of the track today with going through another one of my 'organized confusion' of working on reaction to hurdles varying in height and spacing. Workout - 3 x over 8 from a standing 6 step sprint. Since it's a light day for me, I didn't push the envelope too much and kept a focus a nice rhythm of maintaining my momentum through the change ups. And by the 3rd of 3, I finally felt a nice rhythm. Set-up: hurdles 1,2,3 @36 inches, spacing (27 feet to hurdle 5) hurdle 4 @39 inches, hurdle 5,6,7@ 30 inches spacing (15 feet from 5-7, 27 feet to hurdle 8@39 inches) Rhythm from a standing 6 step sprint (3-step,3-step,3-step,3-step,1-step,1-step,3-step) Whew! Got that? Lol.
