Both the CU men's and women's teams finished third, not qualifying automatically as a team; although, they may receive at-large bids to the NCAA National Championships. Whether or not the CU men or women receive an at-large bid for nationals, the Buffs will have at least three runners--Shalaya Kipp, Jake Hurysz and Martin Medina--advance to nationals, since the top four individual runners in each race not on the two teams qualify individually.
