Jenny Simpson 4th at Pre, new PR, and knows she can't save up for that final kick

Simpson mixed up her racing tactics at the Prefontaine Classic. In the Women's 1,500-meters, the World Championship silver medalist went out hard from the gun and committed to the lead. After a fourth place finish and new personal best (3:58.28), Simpson knows that she's capable of more, but is aware that she can't save up that kick from 1,300-meters to 1,400-meters. Still, is an American Record in the cards for later this season?
