Jenny Simpson repeated as 1500m Champion at the 2014 USATF Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Simpson was the 2014 Diamond League winner for the 1500 and received an auto-qualifier into the 2015 World Championships for her win. Still, Simpson wanted to take this meet seriously as preparation for the 2016 Olympic Trials and Rio Olympics.
