Boys Championship Distance Medley:
We witnessed our first national high school record-breaking performance of the day. To kick off Father's Day, Crater High School in Oregon shattered the high school record by nearly five seconds. Josiah Tostenson anchored the relay with a 4:02 split on the 1,600m leg.

Just like the boys race, a new national high school record fell in the distance medley relay. Cuthbertson (NC) owns the indoor 4x800m, indoor DMR, indoor 4xmile, and now they own the outdoor DMR record. The North Carolina-based team lowered the previous record, which was set by Ventura in 11:21.85 in April, as they went 11:20.44.
