Track fans don't have to wait till the 2028 to see many of the best athletes compete in one meet. In fact, they've been able to count one meet to do it for 128 years. 

The 2025 Penn Relays ,the 129th annual edition of the event, will showcase some of the best Olympic, college and high school athletes starting on April 24. 

A big thing to note about the relays is that they are the oldest and largest track and field competition in the United States, with 1895 being the first year that the event was held.

The Penn Relays have been held at Franklin Field at the University of Pennsylvania campus in Philadelphia for much of that time, becoming one of the most famous track stadiums in the process.

Many of the top athletes from the various levels of the sport—high school, college, Olympic development, and masters—are headlining the events.
