DI Regional Cross Country Rankings: 2012 Week #5

October 14, 2012

NEW ORLEANS â€“The last few days marked the annual "pre-national" weekend, a grouping of the final major competitions in NCAA Division I cross country before conference championships take shape in a couple of weeks. There were several changes to the regional rankings according to the committee members of the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Among the reshuffles, Wisconsin’s men’s team was dethroned by Michigan atop the Great Lakes region rankings. Colorado’s men’s squad was named the new No. 1 team in the Mountain region while Stanford’s men took over as head of the West. In women’s rankings, Duke is the new No. 1 in the Southeast and Stanford’s squad stands tall in the West.

PDF: Regional Rankings Summary | Week-by-Week
