Alexa Efraimson has Olympic goals, and the 17-year-old knows how hard she has to work to get there. Being a successful pro requires discipline, which can prove to be the toughest transition for a young talent. Efraimson has honed her discipline through her successes, but also with her failures. She called her disappointing 6th place finish at World Juniors this past July a "learning experience", a valuable lesson for the future. While there may be growing pains along the way, those tough lessons will better prepare her for the championship finals where medals are won and lost.
