AUSTIN --  Freshman Pippi Lotta Enok of Oklahoma used a personal-best in the javelin to catapult passed Jenelle Rogers of Ball State and into the lead and then held on in the 800m to win the heptathlon title at the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Mike A. Myers Stadium.

AUSTIN -- Jenelle Rogers of Ball State used a personal-best in the 200m to vault into the lead after the first day of competition in the women's heptathlon at the  NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Mike A. Myers Stadium.

The greatest male decathlete of all time and one of the best female heptathletes of this generation are retiring. Ashton Eaton and Brianne Theisen-Eaton, who married in 2013, announced on their website that they are retiring from track and field. Both are 28.
