Anyone who was coached by Mr. Connelly knows what kind of person he is. Mr. Connelly has been one of the biggest influences in my life. While I was at St. Ignatius from 1998 to 2001 he was my teacher, coach, father and friend. Today in Chicago a lot of former runners and friends are celebrating his 40 years at St. Ignatius. I cannot be there so I wanted to do something to honor him because I cannot do it in person. If you know Mr. Connelly and would like to help honor him , please leave a comment.
