DRIVEN: Jeremy Wariner (Episode 2)

Jun 24, 2015

After winning the gold medal at the 2004 Olympics, Jeremy Wariner's life changed drastically. After ultimately deciding to turn pro after his sophomore year of college, Wariner continued to have success under the guidance of Coach Clyde Hart at Baylor. In 2008, everything changed. No longer was Wariner the fastest in the world over 400m, as the rise of fellow American LaShawn Merritt caught up to him at the Beijing Olympics and 2009 World Championships, where Wariner won silver. Though injuries have kept him from major world stages in the last few years, he still feels like he's got a shot of making one or more U.S. Championship teams. With the support of his family and Coach Hart, Wariner has changed up his training and is taking a new mindset into 2015.
