Marathon legend Joan Beniot Samuelson talks about her 2:51:29 2011 Boston Marathon

Joan Benoit Samuelson, a two-time champion of the Boston Marathon, finished the 2011 Boston Marathon in a time of 2:51:29. This was Joanie's first Boston Marathon in 18 years as she last raced the course in 1993. Joan Benoit Samuelson set the course and world record at Boston in 1983 with a 2:22:43. Her course record was broken today by 5 seconds by Desiree Davila. Joanie still ranks #2 all-time on the US Marathon list.
