Andy Powell after Mac Fleet and Oregon's final day at NCAA Outdoor 2013

In 2010 freshman Mac Fleet got 2nd place in the mile at the NCAA Indoor Champs. At that point his future as an Oregon Duck looked bright. Injury over the next few years prevented Fleet from improving on his 2nd place finish at NCAAs . . . until now. Coach Andy Powell talks about the long and difficult journey his athlete took to win a national title. A confident Fleet races US Champs in two weeks as he looks to follow in the footsteps of former Oregon middle distance greats such as Matt Centrowitz.
