Matt Petrocci represents the United States Army and runs for the Army World Class Athletes Program. Members of this program are full time athletes but are also on active duty. The programs goal is:
"To provide outstanding soldier-athletes the support and training to compete and succeed in national and international competitions to include the Olympic Games, while maintaining a professional military career."
