Washington's Katie Flood ran the fastest time in the 1500 meter preliminary rounds this Thursday in Austin. Flood has had a strong season so far, taking the runner up spot in the Pac-12 1500 in a tight race with Jordan Hasay. Heading in to Des Moines she makes a few predictions about the championship race and talks about riding out her experiences to grow as a competitor.
