Rose Monday, Maggie's new coach

This past fall Maggie Vessey made a coaching change to Rose Monday. Rose, based in Houston, TX, is an event coordinator for high performance for USATF and has competed in the 800 at a high level for many years in her career. She was ranked in the top 10 in the U.S. in the 800-meters from 1983-92 and competed in four Olympic Trials. In 2001 Rose won the World Masters Championships and in her prime had a PR of 2:00. Rose has coached at the collegiate and professional levels along with international team USA coaching experience. She has known of Vessey since her college years and now have started working together for the first time. Her she talks about there new relationship, how training has changed with increased mileage and some goals they look towards in the coming years.
