1:48 high schooler Brandon McGorty committed to Stanford today, setting up a potential McGorty to McGorty 800m-1600m DMR exchange in the 2018 track season. After the interview, Brandon reached out to make sure that his appreciation for coaches Powell, O'Sullivan, and Gondak--the three distance coaches at the other three schools he was considering--was known. He also gave a shoutout to Chris Solinsky for coaching his older brother at William & Mary.
