Miss State freshman Curtis Thompson claims USATF junior title in javelin

The Mississippi State freshman capped a stellar season, which included a third-place finish at the NCAA Championships, with defense of his USATF Junior title. But Curtis Thompson is not done yet, as he will return at 3 p.m. Thursday to compete in the senior-level competition.​
