Dorian Ulrey Back on the Charge

null

Back in 2009 Dorian Ulrey surprised many when he made the US 1500 meter team to represent the country in Berlin at the World Championships. This year he stepped to the line hoping to surprise again. He was bumped in the semis and had to petition to get into the final. He ran a competitive race but only finished 8th, about 1.5 seconds beind the leaders. Dorian continues to move forward and is now racing in Europe after a relatively slow final NCAA (in terms of time). He posted his fastest time of the season a few days ago with a 3:37 and 3rd place finish at Lignano, which is the closest he's been to his 3:35 PR from 2009. Dorian is enjoying his opportunities and looking forward to racing to where he wants to be. Check out Dorian's Blog to hear from the man himself.
