*Tomashova - ran 14:39 and 14:47 for 5k in 2001 and 2002 respectively, then moved down in distance at about age 26. Ran at the 2000 (5k, 13th) and 2004 (1500, 2nd) Olympic Games. Won the 2003 and 2005 World Champs at 1500m.
*Evdokimova - ran at 2004 Olympics (1500, 4th). Competed at 2009 and 2011 World Champs, has never medaled.
*Yegorova - Ran at 2000 (5k, 8th) and 2004 (1500, 11th) Olympic Games. Won the World Champs 5k in 2001, didn't make the final in 2003. Moved to 1500 more at age 32.
*Galkina - World record holder in 3k Steeple (broke record 3 times between 2003-2008). Broke steeple WR in 2004, but ran 5k at the '04 Olympics (6th). At 2008 Olympics she won steeple and finished 12th in 5k. Ran World Champs in 2003, 2007 and 2009 but never medaled. Gave birth to child in 2010.
*Zadorozhnaya - Ran at the 2008 Olympics (5k, 4th). Ran at the 2001 (5k, 6th), 2003 (5k, 4th/1500, 8th), 2005 (SC, 6th) and 2011 (5k, 10th). Never medaled at major champs
*Shobukhova - one of a few Russian women in this group to move to the marathon. Made 2004 and 2008 Olympic 5k finals. Ran World Champs in 2005 (5k) and 2009 (10k). Never medaled. In 2008, at the time ran #3 fastest 5k all-time but never did it again after. Moved to marathon in 2009.
*Fomenko - never ran at any Olympic Games. Made one World Championships team in 2005 for 1500m and did not make it past the first round.
*Soboleva - only made one World Championships in 2005 before being banned, finished 4th.
*Alminova - Ran at 2008 Olympics (1500, 11th) and 2009 World Champs (only made semi-final. Ran her PR same year as testing positive for pseudoephedrine, but only served a 3 month ban as it was reported to be from over the counter cold medicine. After the season of her career, she has not been back on the track.

* Kelly Holmes last year running was 2005 at age 35. Holmes ran under 2:00 for 800 meters every year from 1993-2004. She ran 4:06 or better every year from 1994 to 2005 and only five of those years were slower than 4:01. She was double Olympic Champ in the 800 and 1500 at the 2004 Olympics. She also made the finals of both events at the 2000 and 1996 Olympics (800 bronze in 2000).
**Jo Pavey ran in the 2000 (5k), 2004 (5k & 1500) and 2008 (10k) Olympics. She finished 5th in the 5k in 2004.
