Alysia Montano after the most devastating race of her career
Jul 5, 2016
The final 120 meters of the women's 800 gave us the most dramatic and heartbreaking finish during the first four days of the 2016 Olympic Trials. Alysia Montano was unfortunately on the wrong end of the drama. Incidental contact was made while athletes were starting to jockey for position and Montano found herself on the track after a toppling head over heels. Montano graciously takes a moment to talk to FloTrack about the race and the emotions that came with it after a roller coaster last few months.
