Terrence Trammell goes through a basic routine that is meant to improve body mechanics while hurdling. One of the key elements he stresses is remaining on the toes and upright at all times. Doing so produces a high center of gravity in the athlete -an essential component for the event. Trammel emphasizes focusing on foot placement and form throughout.
