INDIANAPOLIS – With only 13 months before the biggest event the entire world will be watching, the final piece of turf has been laid on the field of play. “A gift of attending this amazing event is as good as it gets,” said Executive Director Tom Jackovic. “For a track and field fan to mingle with Team USA track and field athletes, Foundation Board members and Olympians, will be an experience that will last a lifetime.”

For the first time, track fans can get an inside look at Team USA as they compete on the world’s biggest stage, and support American athletes in the process.

Couples can sign up for a London 2012 VIP Travel Package, hosted by Olympic gold medalist and USATF Foundation Director Bruce Jenner, who will provide an “inner circle” look at the events and the Foundation. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity will enable fans to mingle with Foundation Directors such as Jenner, Olympian and former triple-jump world record holder Willie Banks, NASDAQ CEO and Foundation Chair Bob Greifeld and noted film producer Frank Marshall.

Six-night travel packages include tickets to track and field events, opportunities to meet USA Track & Field athletes, official Team USA gear, accommodations at a 5-star Central London hotel, a personal on-site London concierge and local tour and excursion opportunities.

Cost per couple is a donation of $30,000 (7 day wave) to the USATF Foundation. The USATF Foundation supports all levels of the sport, including developing Team USA athletes. Recent USATF Foundation Elite Athlete Development Grant winners who went on to the Olympic medal podium include 2008 gold medalist Stephanie Brown Trafton and bronze medalist David Oliver.

The first six-night Wave for the tour is August 1-7, 2012, with Wave 2 August 7-14. Cost to travel with both waves is a $50,000 donation. A portion of the donation may be tax-deductible; consult with your tax advisor.
