DIII Regional Cross Country Rankings – Week 6

October 18, 2011

 

NEW ORLEANS - The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released week six regional rankings for the NCAA Division III 2011 season on Tuesday. Nebraska Wesleyan's men and Occidental's men take over the top spots in the Central and West regions, respectively.

 

New to the regional top ten for the first time this week are:

 

MEN - John Carroll (Great Lakes), Moravian (Mideast), Whitman (West).

 

WOMEN - Moravian (Mideast), UW-Stout (Midwest), Bates (New England).

 

NOTE: Next week is slated to be a "repeat" week, meaning all positions on this week's poll will carry to next week.

 

NCAA Division III Regional Championships will be held on Saturday, November 12. Championship sites.

 

USTFCCCA Regional Cross Country Rankings are determined subjectively by either a single member coach or by polling the region's coaches (each region varies).
