FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Head coach Chris Bucknam and the No. 1-ranked University of Arkansas men’s track and field team have announced the signing of five student-athletes to National Letters of Intent for the 2012-13 season. This marks the fourth Razorback recruiting class for Bucknam and his staff.

“We are very excited about this first wave of signees,” Bucknam said. “It gives us tremendous depth with our distance crew and adds talent in our already solid group of sprinters and jumpers. We chose these specific athletes from the beginning, went out and got them. We are thrilled they have all chosen to be Razorbacks.

“Putting together a class like this take a lot of time and effort from our staff, which has done a phenomenal job. We are not done yet. There are a few more guys out there we want to get and we’re working hard to build on this solid foundation.”
