QUICKLY ... The final USTFCCCA National Team Computer Rankings before the NCAA Championships in Division III shows a fairly tight race on the men's side, with No. 1 UW-La Crosse, No. 2 North Central, No. 3 UW-Oshkosh, and No. 4 McMurry among the primary team challengers for the national title this weekend. North Central is the two-time defending champions, and UW-Oshkosh and UW-La Crosse last won the national crown in a tie in 2009. UW-La Crosse and UW-Oshkosh lead the field with ten entries apiece in the national meet with North Central following with nine.
On the women's side, No. 1 Wartburg and No. 2 UW-Oshkosh has seemingly pulled away from the field as both teams have over 200 rankings points and none other has more than 100. Wartburg leads the number of entries into the meet with 16, seven of which are in sprint and hurdle events. UW-Oshkosh follows with 12 in which six are in the throwing events. UW-Oshkosh is the defending champions, but Wartburg won the national title in 2009 and 2010.
