The Royal Prince Spearmon is quieting former haters and doubters with two killer opening performances this outdoor season. Last week Wallace ran a wind aided, 10.06. This weekend in Arlington Spearmon rolled a 19.95 at the UTA Bobby Layne Invitational, which is the fastest time ever run in March in North America and also left 2004 Olympic 400 Champ Jeremy Wariner in the dust! After a dissapointing 2011, is Wallace going to be firing on all cylinders coming this summer?

Shalane Flanagan was extremely impressive this weekend as she took the title in then Lisbon half marathon with a 1:08.52. Shalane took down a stacked international field and showed that she is not just going to London to participate, she is a name to be feared once they toe the line in the marathon.
