DII Rankings: Adams State’s Women Make First-Ever Showing As Outdoor Number One
April 24, 2012
NEW ORLEANS -- Adams State's women joins Saint Augustine's men as the top teams in the country for NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field as cited in the latest USTFCCCA National Team Computer Rankings. For Adams State's women, it is their first national No. 1 team ranking in women's track & field since the ranking system began in 2010. Last week's No. 1 women's team, Grand Canyon, slipped to No. 3. Meanwhile, the men of Saint Aug's have been No. 1 since the preseason. However, the Adams State men are charging, having gained four spots in the latest update to land at No. 2 this week.
