Adams State’s Men Now No. 1, GVSU Women Back to the Top

May 1, 2012

NEW ORLEANS -- We are now in May, the month in which the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships will be decided. The latest edition of the USTFCCCA National Team Rankings for DII show two different top teams from a week ago. While Grand Valley State's women reclaimed the No. 1 spot -- a position held for three previous weeks including the preseason -- Adams State's men have climbed from No. 10 in the preseason to a first-time-this-season No. 1 perch. Saint Augustine's men, who had been No. 1 since the preseason, are now No. 2.
