Senior Stephen Barbera of Monroe Township High School won the 2024 Greater Middlesex Championship, triumphing over Metuchen High School's senior Eric Schleif. In a thrilling battle to the line, Schleif attempted to out-kick Barbera for the win, but Barbera held strong to secure the victory, finishing in 15:55.80 to Schleif's 15:60.10.
